Pioneer Stadium originally opened in 1978 and Octa's involvement as project manager saw its transformation to a modern recreation and aquatic facility.  The new features include a 312m² leisure pool with Christchurch’s first wave machine, various water features such as a raindrop unit, lazy river & bubble pool, spa, poolside sauna & steam rooms together with a separate 25m x 5 lane lap pool, a fitness centre with aerobic studio, early childhood centre, café and physiotherapist services.

Octa provided project management of design, construction and fit-out for this $7.8 million project.
