Octa Associates were engaged by Waitakere City Council to manage the upgrading of the existing facility and for the following maintenance work:

Roof structure repainting including major scaffolding
Replacement of ceiling tiles with an alternate acoustic ceiling system
Restoration of the raisable pool floor and relocatable bulkhead
Mechanical maintenance detailing
Dive platform modification and resurfacing
Upgrade the facility lighting
Upgrade the staff facilities and swimming club entrance and clubroom
Refurbishment of the main pool bulkhead including the replacing the airbags to the bulkhead and maintenance of the inflation control box
Refurbishment of the raisable floor panels and maintenance of the lifting mechanism
Ventilation remedial works
Remedial works to the balance tanks
