History

Octa Associates Ltd is a New Zealand company established in 1973 to provide professional project management services.  Octa was first to offer professional project managers to the New Zealand construction industry.

The company initially applied critical path programming techniques to construction projects and from there have extended the application of project management systems across all phases of project implementation.

As an independent third party, we provide project consulting services across all levels of a project organisation.  We are most often engaged as the skilled advocate of the project owner, providing the resources and specialist expertise necessary to effectively manage all aspects of project delivery.  We are able to provide comprehensive and proven project management systems to effectively manage projects from the business case to final completion.

At Octa, we also are continually expanding our services.  In line with international trends project management is now being applied to all areas of commerce and business.  With our experience, Octa are therefore well suited to apply our systems to many areas outside of the traditional capital projects.  Consequently we are able to effectively manage small scale as well as large commercial, public, environmental, industrial, healthcare, utility and IT projects.
