Sovereign House One & Two Refurbishment

Octa Associates were engaged to provide project management services associated with the four-stage $1.1 million refurbishment of two levels of Sovereign House One and one level of Sovereign House Two in Takapuna. 

Octa's responsibilities included direction and coordination of design consultants, administration of the main construction contract, direction of separate contractors including coordination of their activities with the main contractor, planning, implementation and on-site management of staff moves to temporary and permanent positions at beginning and end of each construction stage.

Octa also managed the Tenancy Transition Management involving the logistical planning of alternative workspaces during the construction works and providing regular information updates to the tenants as work proceeded.
