Octa were required to develop the strategy for shutting in of all bores under notice of closure, arrange and coordinate all resources required in the operation and carry out the operation.

Detailed planning was essential for operational success with investigation of the problem and the obstacles which could be confronted essential.  This analysis included physical, legal and other factors.

The closure programme was successful.  Following three combined operations all owners agreed to bore closure.  A great deal of the success of the activity was due to the teamwork of the groups.
