This $35 million project involved the construction of a new “greenfields” meat processing plant near Bulls, under a Guaranteed Maximum price (GMP) procurement process.

The cutting room incorporates technology new to the meat industry in New Zealand, involving RF ID tags to carcass skids and bins.
