This project was to provide additional infrastructure for the new Otago Prison Facility.  It is in three parts, new sewage and water supply pipelines, and a new water treatment plant and sewage treatment plant upgrade.

Octa were employed as the independent project manager to implement the project and report to both the Department of Corrections and Clutha District Council.

Octa report to a monthly PCG and provide detailed programming, cost management and reporting services.

So far the community water and waste pipelines along with the new water treatment and plant upgrade has been completed.  After proceeding through a resource consent process the first stage of a sewage treatment plant upgrade is to commence late in 2008.
